I heard that show of Herzog's about Stan Meyers. That was very enlightening to say the least. I've been convinced that the oil companies have been a criminal cartell There was another similar innovator that just totally disappeared over a great fuel saving patent. The man's name was Rudy Gunnerman. He had a patent for an engine that ran on water and Naptha that would save the consumer at least 75% on fuel costs. That was back around 1995 when there was a great deal of talk about Mr. Gunnerman's great patent.

There have been many great fuel saving inventions hi-jacked either by the government and/or the oil companies over the years. If you have such a patent you must realize that you are in danger. I have no idea whatever became of Mr. Gunnerman but I do remember that the Caterpillar Company was very interested in his patent. Chuck Harder and Joel Vincent both used to talk a great deal about him on their shows.
