fabulous!
i love this.
though i have taken a personal vow not to get anything with an rdif chip in it, i have been informed that my passport renewal will have one. (sad, but i need to have a passport) maybe they'll make a passport sized one too, just for kicks? |

Recently on one of the talk radio shows they were discussing this ID. The caller said that there was one in his drivers license and to block it he put it into the micro for about 5 seconds.
I have had visions of the people microing this card. I do not know if this would actually work! Anyone have any idea. I am not recommending that anyone do this sort of thing to a government card, you understand, just curious about the technology of it all! |

Giving any rfid chip a few seconds in the nuker can make it explode. However A sure fire way to eliminate an rfid chip is to use a micro punch or drill press to drill it out. When using your former rfid ridden device most people will not know or even care why there is a hole in it. You can even take silicon or polypropylene to plug the hole afterwords. With such a small hole and how unobservant most people are they will never notice it is missing.
I have also made a portable EMP out of a disposable camera before. You then ues this EMP to eliminate the rfid chip.
I have heard that if you make a pouch out of a heavy metal that has been heavily magnetized and place them so the magnetic field pulls out it will destroy the rfid chips internals and disrupt the signal traffic. |

All recent technology is way beyone me ...................so bear with my ignorance..................what is an EMP?
I really don't know! Like most on this site, I am so opposed to having any kind of ID's on me, in me, or even around me and I am determined to prevent this anyway I can.
God I was so sorry to hear that you can not micro these chips, that would be in any of our documents, it seemed so simple and effective. Would it just explode the chip and leave the licence, pastport intact or would it blow up the documents too with only a 5 min. microing? I guess the only way to find out is to do it and see.
I do not have a licence or passport with this chip in it or I would do it. It is amazing what little old ladies can get away with, where a young man would feel "their" rath to the max! Those bastards are supposed to have 800 plus FEMA "Camps" ready and waiting............Since the prison system is now run by privite corporations, you can bet your ass that they will be trying to fill them as fast as they can.
So keeping the above in mind I can not help but wonder if there is another "little old lady" out there that feels that they want to perform an experiment and try this microwaving process. Please let us know what happens if you micro them for anything less than 5 secs.
I sure one could always apply for another licence because yours was misplaced somehow! One can use their imagination on that score. Don't actually have to tell them how it was misplaced!!!!! |

i don't have a chip id, ohio forces one on me, i will gladly toss it in the microwave for a little bit. i'll even let it explode and video tape myself going into the dmv with it...
"yes, ma'am, i need a new one. because i put mine in the microwave and now it's all melty and it don't work. i don't think i should have to pay for a replacement. these should be microwave proof. i mean, they're waterproof, right? is that such a big leap?"
of course, when i get my new passport... |

The only part the explodes in the micro is the chip. It will leave a burn mark that looks like an explosion on the face of the ID. The time it takes and even if it is possible is determined by the wattage of the oven.
Info on EMP's can be found here:

Well Marshmallow, you gave me my big laugh of the day
Now my mind is working around a little civil disobedence, like we hold on to these microwed licences and offer them if we are stopped! According to Ray, and I believe him, this licencing is another scam that the government has imposed on us!!!! This could be fun if we could get hundreds of thousands to do it!
EMP........................thanks Neorayden. I had googled it and found out that it meant electro magnetic pulse. I keep forgetting that you can find out the answer to just about anythin here on the net. That comes because of the fact that I did not grow up with computers.................kids of 10 years old know more about this stuff than I do. But I'm learning more and more everyday. However as far as anything electrical...............I need to be careful...my knowledge about how it all works is nil!!!!! |

i'm kind of feeling it for a "microwave your id" party... i'm seeing beers and a few thrift-store micros in a garage; maybe a camp fire...

A microwave your id party could be a nationwide civil disobedience event like the Boston tea party was. We need to promote a national Nuke Your ID day. Everyone would gather in a park with tables setup and high wattage microwaves ready to Nuke ID's. We all wear V masks and nuke National Nuke Your ID name badges people can print out. These nuked badges can then be sent into your state congressmen to convince them to promote anti real id act legislation in their state.
If you like the idea let me know and I'll start a website.

i love the idea. we'll need a list of all the states that have it, because obviously we want to target those people. ohio has the magnetic swipe. i'm thinking about walking into the office kitchen and nuking mine right now, just to be safe...
i know for sure it's in the new passports. my current passport expires in march, so i'll be filing for a renewal very soon... it takes a while to get it back, but i'll have a chance to check it out and see where the chip goes. you can smack the chip with a hammer, too, which will work on the paper passport but not on a plastic drivers license.
i don't know which is more fun- microwaves or hammers. maybe they'll be kind enough to give me two soi can try both??
actually, from what i understand a lot of credit cards also have (or will have soon) rfid. does capital one really need to know everything about me? (shaking head) i don't actually have any credit cards of my own, but i do have a visa debit card for my chequer.
so far i've had alot of trouble uncovering a lot of info on this. on the gps in my cell phone, too. neither my provider or the manufacturer of my phone will tell me how to turn it off. i just take the battery out, but i don't know if even that works... |

I had the same thought! Anyone with these chips in their licences ..........go for it!
Strangely enough some of the TV shows are kind of getting us ready for these implants. Last night on Nip n' Tuck...............there was an episode about a scientist having one implanted in his back! So now is the time for civil disobedience about this nonsense! |

needs a page with real id info
i'd steal from wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REAL_ID_Act
and also links to find out who voted for / against
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d109:H.R.418:
probably a download banners / ads page
if you want to email me your html docs and style sheets, i'll create some more pages for you (grim- fellow it-er here)
lyndse @ marshmalloheaddesign .com
also, i'll mull some ideas around in my head about art. i'm kinda feeling it for some soviet-era nuclear propaganda style warning signs
i mentioned this to my ron paul group last night and they were like "oh no- your id will blow up and then it won't be useful anymore" i just shook my head. i thought that was the point. to render is useless. besides, i like seeing shit blow up in the microwave
i have 2 responses from ohio state senators here at my office- one for ane one against. i'll try to scan them and clean them up. i think the lady who used the photocopier for me licked the glass before she made my copies.

Since this damn administration appears to have adopted and fine honed the Nazi programs.................be sure to put them in there too!
All totalitarian regimes could be represented. According to Naomi Wolfe they all use the same ten steps to gain their power! |

Neo
To this day I don't know what you did to get yourself banned after almost 200 posts, but I just stumbled on this thread and thought that nuking might just be a bit dangerous, how about trying a magnetic field instead. If you have and old computer around, strip out the hard drive and take it apart. You will see the platters and the head unit that floats on top of them that stores your data. At the base of the head unit there are 2 very strong magnets. Strip them out, scratch up the platters so no data is recoverable and discard the rest. You now have a very strong magnetic field to clamp onto your id. I have not tested it but if all else fails, just don't take an ID. We can survive without THEM. |
