Physical Possession - You hit the nail on the head "aa"!!!. If people are going to invest in either gold, silver, Platinum, palladium, rhodium or whatever metals that they think is going to pay off then they need to take a serious hint at what you just reiterated.

First of all I want to let you all know and I freely admit that I have very little knowledge on this "Liberty Dollar" that has become the focal point o much recent controversy. I do know however that it is real Silver which is real money by any real standards. I find it incredibly strange from one aspect that the people in this country actually prefer something on worthless paper and seemingly have complete faith in it. Not to mention stocks & bonds that for all intent and purposes are equally as unstable. I do know that the Liberty Dollars that I have spoken to people about are made from real silver, which has quadroupled in price in the last 4 years. It has done much better than 95% of all stocks on all of the American exchanges and it has done better than 97% of all real estate investments in the USA. Isn't funny that in this time of turmoil and uncertainty that the really sophisticated investors ( of which there are very few of) are gravitating to investing in either commodities or other investments pertaining to items with real intrinsic value. Whereas the sheeple are stilling buying the American Wall Street lies and the phony paper investments that won't even be worth the paper they are inscibed on.

Here is a heartbreaking, painful example I encountered about 5 months ago. I have a personal lady friend who I've known for many years and she came to me to get my opinion on rolling over her retirement investment portfolio that she accrued working for a major corporation for over 30 years ( a value of well over 6 digits). At that time I had just bought some gold and palladium and both metals were doing very well and I was already making money on them and the metals still appeared to be in a raging bull market. I advised her to put at least 20 to 30% of that money into some physical gold, silver, platinum ect and take physical possession of them and put the rest of her money into conservative, rock solid investment vehicles like T-Bonds, T-Bills and so forth. But she said that she didn't trust those types of investments and couldn't possibly see how you could make money on Gold or any other metal. I was just totally dumbfounded by her answers and I could see that she was totally media brainwashed and didn't trust gold because she hadn't heard Suze Orman or any other talking heads recommend it ( which was her reason for not trusting it). In spite of the fact that the metals are going up almost on a daily basis and continuing upward. She ended up going to some high commission, financial planner type scamster and he put all her hard earned retirement money into stocks, limited partnerships and other weird paper investments ( some I've never even heard of). By her own admission she is already down about 38% in just 5 months whereas gold at that time was $680 an ounce and has gone up to over $1000 an ounce since that time. I talked to her again just in the last week and I reiterated that she needs to get some Gold or other metals to help protect her portfolio and she said that she had total confidence in this financial planner who undoubtedly is taking a huge vacation and maybe even buying a new car on the commissions he generated by ripping her off. Even though she did admit that I had been right and that Gold and the other metals have done really well. And you can be sure that this Wall Street Shark that she has trusted won't lose a dime of his own while losing virtually all of her money. My whole point in all of this pertaining to the financial scene is that most people are victims of mass media brainwashing and have been carefully programmed to follow the Wall Street "Piep Pipers" straight to hell. Am I the only one that has noticed this happening to many good hard working people? Because she isn't the only person that has told me that I am stupid for investing in metals and other items of real intrinsic value. I wonder how much money she would have made had she put at least half of that money into Silver bullion or even these Liberty Dollars??? That to me is one sure indicator of total corruption is that the media continues to sell the public nothing but an illusion of prosperity and a total pack of lies. This poor woman will probably be down 70 to 80% by Labor Day and I'll almost bet on it. But Silver and Liberty Dollars will probably double or triple again in that time period. Like the boxing promoter Don King used to say "ONLY IN AMERICA!!!!!

Also, a lot of people invest in digital gold and silver, not the tangible. If there is a crisis, it is unlikely UPS and FedEx will be driving around giving people real gold and silver that people thought they owned. You tried to tell her JD, maybe a seed has been planted in her that will sprout sometime.

ABSOLUTELY TAKE PHYSICAL POSSESSION OF ALL METALS, DIAMONDS, COINS OR any other real tangible investments. If you can't hold it in your hand then you don't really own it and there is no way to be sure you'll have it in a time of severe need.

Also folks DO NOT!!! and I mean DO NOT!! under any circumstances store any of the above investment metals, coins, diamonds or whatever in a bank Safety Deposit BOX. Because if you do I can 100% guarantee you that it will all be looted. Make no mistake about it because they can even deny you access to those boxes under certain conditions. Even if that bank is FDIC insured it doesn't matter because contents in Safety Deposit boxes are not covered by FDIC insurance and the banker will even admit that. If you don't believe me go talk to any attorney that deals in the field of banking, estate planning, ect. Safety Deposit boxes are not safe places for those types of possessions. I had a great uncle who back in 1930 had his entire safety deposit box looted and completely emptied out. And his bank was closed for over a month before they would even let him in to have access to even open the box. If you folks don't think this is all going to happen again you all are a completely naive fools. Because who would help you in the event that it did get looted? It certainly wouldn't be the government. They would in all likelihood be the ones to loot you.
