Hey guys,

I've been hoping not to have to do this, but funds are really tight in my personal life right now (actually, I'm in tons of debt thanks to the government). Our web hosting costs approx $40 a month -- I pay more than that but I run a couple websites that payed me for hosting. So MTS's share is about $40 or so per month. It's really nice hosting, though, and we're sure to utilize it more in the future.

If anyone here is willing to toss in a couple bucks or whatever to help us, I would appreciate it. This is the first time I've asked for any help -- every expense to date I've paid out of my own pocket. It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't been arrested so many times. Anyways...

thank you so much, aa. I was starting to worry there. Now if I can get money out of a guy I host another website for, we should be able to pay out bill. I do everything by paypal, so my host just deducts it as an auto payment every month.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ahmed. We're not going to get into any of that stuff tho. I did some of that stuff on another website I worked on. Neither Ed nor I want to get into it on here.

So, if a time comes again when I need some help with the monthly bill, I'll let people know.

We fell about $13 short this month. (dues are paid 1st of each month). There is a $50 outstanding account I have to collect on from someone I host a site for. I will get that for this month.

We could still use help funding this thing if more people would be willing to toss in a few bucks. Thanks.

I will offer you free web hosting on the backend of my account or I will see about just giving you a new account for free. What are your bandwidth requirements per month. I have had my sites with this certain host for 5 years. 99.9% uptime. Please let me know .

I don't see why anyone would need to pay. I have the ability to get this site hosted for free. So the monies are not needed is Shaun wants to use a different host. I guess we will have to see.

The hosting I use comes with high quality bandwidth (not second rate bandwidth) and also top notch support. The support was the primary reason I went with this company. I knew the guy before hosting with him, and he's a good guy. He's also an EXPERT at phpnuke (the system we run). He actually developed this distribution of phpnuke.

Because of the special nature of this site, I feel safer running it with him than with some random giant corporation. I also feel safer going directly through a professional webhost than through a third party (reseller type). No offense meant to you, either. I used to do web hosting on the side, but now I just host 3-4 other sites for fun.

Considering the importance of the site, I think it's best we stick with what we've got going right now. I appreciate the offer very much though. I paid for the hosting myself for many months, until things got really tight. If I had the money, I wouldn't ask for help. As with anything, you get what you pay for. I'm willing to pay for this since it's so important.

I too also like the fact that Shaun has gone to great lengths to secure the site.
