'Nonviolent Communication' tm, the book by Marshall Rosenberg was the first and still remains the material that gave me the tools to see with awareness, and a way to communicate to support life-enriching actions (as opposed to life-alienating), without calling names...

Have you heard of The Total Transformation Program by James Lehman for parents to take back control of 'your' kids? Well, I paid ~19$ to review the ~6 cds and 2 dvds (If I didn't send it back (I did) there would be 3 $99 payments taken from credit card, one a month!), so I could see what the media supports giving parents these days on how to deal with their children. Here is the very brief letter I sent back with the program:

Thanks for the opportunity to review the material. It could be a great step toward a pervasive consciousness exemplified in concepts like Nonviolent Communication tm. I find it interesting that in the material it emphasizes kids being held accountable and they have a responsibility to do things like their homework, or chores. Why? Because ‘those are just things they have to do’. But according to the book by Marshall Rosenberg, there is a German word for ‘responsibility-denying’ language that was used by the Nazis called “Amtssprache”. In this language, if asked why one did an action, the response might be, ‘I had to’, or ‘they told me to’, or ‘because it’s my responsibility’ (ironically), or, ‘the law says so, ‘it’s my duty’. Quote: “We deny responsibility for our actions when we attribute their cause to”: ‘vague, impersonal forces; our condition, diagnosis, personal or psychological history; the actions of others; the dictates of authority; group pressure; institutional policies, rules, and regulations; gender roles, social roles, or age roles; and uncontrollable impulses’. -Aa

I wanted to provide this example, as I have seen a lot of amtssprache (actually extremely) in the movie just in the first 9 minutes. Keep your eyes open folks.

Oh, ya. Notice how in the letter I wrote 'COULD BE' a great step... Right now, I see the material in The Total Transformation Program to be a training program that would teach parents how to get kids used to following orders and obeying blindly with the fear of punishment, I imagine making it easier if police forces ever attempt to take your kids away, they already would know how to take orders. And, at the same time it brainwashes parents into believing this is the best thing for them and their kids.

Hey guys,

As long as we are exchanging movie reviews how about "Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media (1992)?" Are you as open to new information as you would have others be? I would like to think so. If you can get all the way through it I think you will be very glad you did. It will greatly augment your already thick mental armor.

By the way. I Know the production company / principles behind the movie of which you speak, Ray, and am privy to their intent. I understand that it was their first foray into the major feature / distribution system.

First and foremost the movie put me to sleep. The pacing, editing, and any possible subliminals are waywayway off the mark if intended to create control. Mind control requires that the "mind controlee" not change the channel or start texting friends. The best mind control, as you know, is usually hidden in a fun, mindless, easily watchable, mass-distributed, package harmlessly named things like "Air Force One" or "Patriot Games."

Please tell me what you think about social engineering scientists like Chomsky who have been expounding on these subjects since the Sixties.

Holy tomoley, I have watched the whole 2:48 min. Noam Chomsky movie. Wheeeww. I wouldn't recommend it other than for others to see that it shows that the awareness of the New World Order stuff isn't new. I wish Noam would stop using the word 'Democracy' like it's a good thing; I think that's one word he should look into. We are a constitutional republic. Thanks for the recommendation dmgreenw. I went looking to see what action he's taking today. I chose to watch it, as I recommend free online videos to others, and I can't expect others to listen to my recommendations if I don't listen to others. I didn't find it augmented my mental armor much because there were only a few powerful statements with 'soft, calm, slow' (my labels for ease of description) in between. I find all the 9/11 videos these days and stuff like Zeitgeist, The Movie, Freedom to Fascism, The Money Masters, the Aaron Russo video interview by Alex Jones, the free audio or book of The Creature from Jekyll Island,.... have given me up to date points that contribute to confidence and clarity (and stuff like documentaries on Ruby Ridge and Waco); I am happy I watched the two videos mentioned in this post though. I am not commenting anymore on Death of a Pres. cause you gotta make the decision yourself y'all.
