I know there are many people just wanting to make a post but are afraid to do so because they are too worried about "them" coming to "get" you. What's happening is already happening and you should not and cannot be afraid. So jump in and stand together as our Founding Fathers did, and expect from us. Go ahead, don't be scared. Yes Randy! I tell people in my sphere of influence that our American revolution began with patriots passing out hand bills against the Crown. Shouting from soap boxes and publishing articles in the papers. We have the internet and people like Aaron Russo and of course Ed and Elaine. I tell everyone about the Browns. Get yourself some Russo DVDs for a buck each and hand them out. That is what we are doing here in Rhode Island. Smile

Amen, Randy. There are now (I feel I can say without fear of contradiction) too many truthers out here for the FBI/CIA/Black Ops murderers to "get". I've been in touch w/people from Fla, Ohio, Texas and who knows how many other places, there is a full fledged "movement" going on. I know this site is primarily related to the IRS crooks, but again, even if they intercept these messages, they then have to decide if what we have said constitutes a violation of libel, treason, National Security etc, etc. Then they have to track your IP (internet address) while deciding if your words rise to the level of a felony. Damn big load of work to "get" one person who says something they might find offensive to some arcane anti-speech law. But there are bad days ahead. There are prison camps being built in the US (Youtube: search- FEMA Camps), and when,- not if,- there is another "terrorist" strike of any size, it's likely to be Martial Law, with W as dictator. It's not as farfetched as it may seem. The Bill of Rights is, for all intents, dead. If you are picked up and designated an "Enemy Combatant"- No phone call- No Lawyer-No Notification of next-of-kin, and off to Gitmo (outside the legal boundaries of the US). I am buying a rifle this week. First gun. I'm praying I'll never use it for anything but target, but the thin veneer of society comes off mighty quick when the sh*t hits the fan. They can't go after us typical ways like charging us with crimes. Maybe if you're of middle-eastern decent they can get away with it -- otherwise no. If they off any of us -- we'll know it and expose it. Killing us will only verify what we're saying and bring strength to the cause of freedom.

Randy and all you other good citizens might wish to contact the folks at Aaron Russo's web site and join up as volunteers or at least ask them about the cost of bulk videos. I believe if you can get through to them that there might be a program for purchaseing larg amounts of DVDs. You may have to be patient with them as they do have a lot of web tracfic. At least that is my experience.

More true every day.

I try to inform as many people as I can, I've even done the deed to some members on this very board! But the problem is... You know that old saying about the squeaky wheel getting the grease? Yeah, sometimes the squeaky wheel gets REPLACED. While I am willing to do whatever it takes to preserv/restore my Constitutionally enumerated rights granted me by the CREATOR, not some mere human, there are some folks that simply do/will not grasp the concept. I have got the country categorized into percentage based groups as follows:

15%- The blind. These are the folks that are currently LEADING this country. They are SO blinded by their own greed and powermad, world domination goals to see or care about anything else, unless it is an election year, in which case they will pay lip service to the next group...

25%- The stupid. These are the folks that elect the blind. They follow along party lines without question, using blind faith as their guide. The same kind of folks that will elect ANY Republican, just to keep a democrat out of the same office, no matter what their (stated) ideals are. They are also the second half of the equation: "the blind leading the stupid."

30%- The apathetic. Too interested in "American Idol" to pay any attention to anything else going on around them. Easily distracted by non-news distraction topics (Anna, Imus, etc...) and have absolutely NO PART WHATSOEVER in the political process, or any kind of activism, and have no desire to participate. Also known as "sheep", will "switch off" if you try to wake them from their TV induced coma by trying to enlighten them as to the REAL issues going on all around them.

20%- The aware. They are aware of what is happening, but are unsure (or unwilling) to take action for a multitude of reasons, including: "I'm too old to start a revolution." And "I'm just one person, what can I do?" as well as the ever popular "I know it is messed up, but what can you do about it?" Some of these may eventually make it to the next category if pushed hard enough with enough factual information, or a life-changing occurance that would open their eyes a little further to become...

10%- The enlightened. Probably the vast majority of the folks here on the board. You know what is going on, why it is wrong, who is doping it, AND how to stop it, but alas, we are only 10%. Often called "crazy" or the very disturbing "un-American", but these are probably the most patriotic citizens in the whole nation.

The solution?

The enlightened need to sway the aware over to join, they will be the easy ones. Now we're up to 30% that is a much better number. Some of the apathetic can be swayed if you are patient and can take the time and have enough facts in your brain to get them to "come over" with much effort. Some of them you will never sway, so I would think that we could get our percentage up to somewhere near 40%- HEY now we're getting somewhere! The blind and the stupid should might as well just hang, as they are never going to be swayed, and any effort to do so would be an exercise in futility.

So, to make a too long story short, WE NEED TO CONCENTRATE ALL OF OUR EFFORTS ON DISSEMINATING THE INFORMATION OUT TO THE MASSES! This is not an option, this is absolutely necessary to "waking" up the masses. If you don't speak up, who will?

Getting the word out is good, getting others to join us is excellent. Be careful, though. You may THINK you are doing something good to make a difference, when you are not. I used to think I was as well. I was a member of the NRA, GOA, and tons of other organizations. I ran an organization in Illinois to promote gun rights. We were 100% no-compromise, which is the only way.

HOWEVER, I was working WITHIN the system to effect change. This is impossible to do. The system was DESIGNED to be this way. You cannot effect change within the system. We've got to work outside the system. This is the most difficult thing to do of all. For it is we who must practice what we preach and sacrifice much.

Don't lobby your representatives -- it's a waste of time. Don't join organizations -- it's a waste of time and money. Don't donate to ANYTHING -- it's a waste of money! Don't vote -- it's a waste of time and only strengthens the system. You get the idea.

This is a real tough one. I'm torn very much myself. I'm facing felony charges and must decide if I'm going to court or not. I am confident it will resolve without trouble, but it's painful to show up to court when I've done nothing wrong. Sacrifice isn't easy. But don't give yourself that comfy pat on the back because you're "doing something" when you're not. I did that the last few years, and I've gotten nowhere from it. I wish I could get those years of my life back. However, it's part of the journey.

So be glad that you're on the path to truth. We're all making the journey, and the ones here are probably very nicely along! So don't turn your back now -- keep moving in the right direction! Take what you know and practice it -- don't fall back to the ugliness of hypocrisy.

Dude you are so right. The System is a one way street. I left the NRA 10 years ago when I realized it was a 501 3C corperation organized under the rules of the internal revenue laws.

The support all of the major gun control compromise bills -- just like the FOPA (Firearms Owner Protection Act) -- what a name! It banned the manufacture of automatic weapons for the civilian market! This screwed us completely!!!

Well, let me qualify that. It MADE PEOPLE THINK it banned it. Since congress has no such authority, and title 18 has no such scope, authority, or jurisdiction, it actually did nothing of the sort. But since people think so, it has in practice banned it. There isn't a single manufacturer in the country going against this.

Just as there are no gun shops that aren't licensed with FFLs. There's no requirement under law, but they all are. So in practice, they got what they wanted.

I'm so disgusted, I think I'll take the NRA bumper sticker off my car (it's been there a few years).
