One thing I do know! The Bible is full of wisdom. I believe that you do yourself a disservice not to take advantage of the pearls of great price.
There is right and there is wrong. Someone said, "Your rights end, where the rights of another begin."
Via Democracy - our government has allowed School, Cities, etc., to vote bond issues - mortgages - on our private property. No one has the right to vote a mortgage on someone elses property. "Might does not make right!" Another said, "Robbery doesn't cease to be robbery simply because we use a vote instead of a gun."
A gang of thugs may hold you up, and take (for example) a diamond ring from you and take it to the pawn shop. In order to get that ring back, you might have to pay the "mortgage" "pawn" on that ring. That is exactly the same principle used when the "majority" of voters - vote to take your private property and mortgage it to a bank for a bond issue. Who profits? The bankers who get the bids on the bonds, and those in the community who can invest in the bonds. Yet, at your expense!! An expense that many sometimes cannot afford, and yet, they are forced to pay.
Another example of mob rule was when Jesus was crucified. The majority cried for the release of Barrabas. Pilate "sacrificed" the rights of the individual "minority" in order to please the mob. Politicians haven't changed. They want to please the mob in exchange for campaign contributions.

Many don't realize that Karl Marx called communism "Democracy" "rule of the masses" or "mob rule". Marx gave suggestions to "win the battle of Democracy." Likewise, The "Democracy" that our leaders speak of establishing in other nations is absolute tyranny. We've been duped for so long. We've been the aggressors all along. God forgive us that we have neglected our duty to "earnestly contend for the faith."

We have a Republican form of government. At least, we did have until the fascists and communists took over.
